Salam alukiem everyone… this is a new topic from me and I hope I can see your opinion and ideas about it.
Why the Arabic countries usually don’t care about the education as the western do? What are the difficulties that the Arabic countries face for not having a good education? Wasn’t the first word from Allah in the holy Quran (read)? Do Muslims people follow the Quran for real or just by their tongue? As my experience, studying in most of Arabic countries worth nothing in front of studying in western countries. In Saudi Arabia, they gave us a lot of subjects but they don’t know how to teach them… so for me I learn this subject just for the test and after that… I forgot about it. In US, it’s the opposite… they teach us to learn for the life, for the future not just for the test then forget about it. Some of you guys will say the originally education from Arabs but the western took it and developed it… that’s ok but why you don’t complete about it and go back to the old days? Do you think that there are some ways that can improve the education in Arabic countries? If yes, share it with us so maybe we can give it to minster of education in our countries… maybe it’s too hard or impossible but let’s try it.

. . Outstanding topic I do agree with you, education in Arab countries develop slowly and that’s due to the lack of interest in the education’s outputs and that the chief reason which make the outcomes bad and worthless. As well as the majority of the Arab countries are poor and don’t have enough money to develop the education system in their countries. Education in western world depend on technology and aware view which is that learning should fit with the needs of life and work. Let me say there’s no comparing between education here and in the western world as long as we follow them and couldn’t overtake them. That’s because that we are still take every thing from them even their curriculums and that happened in some of the Arab counties although these curriculums don’t fit with our traditions and religion. I think there’s no real difficulties but the lack of money and that’s the point here this difficulty is so important and it is the whole problem. It’s imperative to say that we are trying to improve the education system in our counties especially in the Arabian Gulf Counties. The fixing of education system needs years to be developed system In regards to the ways to develop the education. We should care of the curriculums and make them practicing subjects more than theoretical subjects and fit with the needs of this period . we have to provide the education institutions with money Lastly thanks bundy really I enjoyed when I wrote this reply Looking forward more of your topic With my best regards Daffodil

first of all, i don't know how to thank you sister daffodil for passing by and put your opinion. actually, i like it and this proves to me that your mind is so big mashallah
i agree with you that the lack of money will make our education system bad but a country like Saudi Arabia has a lot of money... see how many unviersties it has and before a few months ago... the saudi's unviersties took a good place between the other countries' unviersties it took 2998 out of 3000? who do you think the reason of this thing? arabic countires need to care about the education system cause if the young people will be educated, the country will be fine. you can look at iraq, for example, when saddam was the persident... he put a rule that everyone should learn or at least...he or she should read and write. and iraq has a lot of scientists in different filed of knoweldge. you're right about the curriculums and how we should care about it and teach them what the people in the world want and not focus on theoretical subjects. like in Sauid Arabia, teachers who are history of geography, they don't need them anymore cause Saudi Arabia has a lot of them but they need doctors and engineerings. Finally, i'm also happy cause i see what my sister thinking about and her opinion and inshallah there will be more topics soon as soon as i get a new idea and it depenes on my school too cause i'm gonna to goback to school on monday thanks a lot sister for the support that i have received from you Have a great day Bundy

Back after a long thought about it
I can’t speak nor compare education from both sides of the world. But I will speak about the advantages of the western world in their educations. You have to know, that not all western world manage to be successful with their educations. The main success of a better education comes from good teaching system along with excellent teachers In order for students to learn (and that's what I saw in Canada) One/1 Teachers must be organized They should have their lessons ready Two/2 Teachers must be patient Students needs time to learn, in order for the students to learn, teachers must give them some time. No one was brought in this world smart, but we learn and do our best Three/3 Teachers must provide class with fun and activities I believe that lessons should be turned into a fun topic to learn, for example classes should be divided into groups and each group write their own play along with the play, they can create their play characters and make them as puppets (did that in grade 8) and act it in front of class, you'll probably see it's a small thing, but it will make a difference Four/4 Teachers must give students their freedom of speech Students should be allowed to speak and get the opportunity to discuss and share their ideas I will be back to discuss more Jana

Assalam alaikom brother Bundy..
Hope ur doing good.. As I promissed I am back.. First I would like to thank you again for this lovely topic.. Starting with the subject.. First every word I write its my personal opinion from what I know.. and from what I lived.. Being born in an Arabic country, I actually studied there till 5th grade.. which I wouldn’t base my opinion or personal ideas on it .. cuz 5th grade isn’t real studies as I believe.. by talking about real education we should talk here about the education in High schools, college, and university.. Why western people usually care more about their education then the Arabs..? being in a very multicultural country.. I eventually meet a lot of nationalities over here .. and I realized something about most Arabs especially girls, and I’m saying most cuz its not everyone, they don’t really care about their education, or education is not their first value after our religion of course.. as for some westerns it is actually their first value of life.. for they don’t give any consideration to their religion. For the Arab countries, the culture is very different, ladies or girls expect to get married between the age of 18-19.. and once there married they will eventually sit home and take care of the house and the kids.. so therefore they don’t give that much importance to education.. as for men,, the youth, again I wont generalize cuz there is always exceptions.., they have this idea in their minds that once his done with education he’ll go and work in his father’s Company.. therefore once again.. education is not given any more attention by guys then girls.. Contrarily to some Arabs, in the west most are raised in a way to be independent,, reaching the working age,, 14-16 or 18 at some places, most kids or young adults have a temporarily job, working in some clothing places, coffee shops, malls, and all kind of small jobs.. the purpose of having these jobs as part time of course.. is to be independent, organized, and have your own income.. consequently they have more potential to have a better education for a better permanent job.. hence a stable life. The method of teaching is also one point to put in consideration. The way the teacher behaves in Arabic countries is totally different from those of the west. In elementary schools, the teachers teaches kids as if they were in high schools or such.. and they expect from the little students to react like universities students forgetting the part that in reality they’re actually still kids who needs to get out their energy. I remember my elementary studies in an Arabic country, where we had 3 consecutive classes followed by the half and hour break and 4 other classes sometime 5.. they forget that it is proven that a human brain cannot keep on concentrating more then 20 consecutive minutes. As for here .. we had a break of minimum 15 minutes between each class and 1:30 for hour lunchtime. Same thing for high school we had fifteen min. between each class.. and an hour for the lunchtime.. not only that but also the method of teaching.. most of Arabs teachers that I see over here all they do is screaming to the children or students.. what kind of way is that.. that will eventually build some walls not only between students and teachers,, but also between students and their love or attraction to knowledge.. teacher should be very open .. very wise and mature to know how to reacts towards different ages.. to be friend with their students.. with respect of course.. for I’ve saw before some situations in my class ,here, where students have no respect to the teacher whatsoever. How to improve the education in some countries.. I’d say before the first step to do would be to change the teachers way of thinking, their method of teaching.. to go over the school’s policies. And that would eventually lead to attract students to school and to seek for knowledge.. I personally think that growing the love of knowledge or the seek of knowledge in the kids hearts is the responsibility of their teachers.. the students themselves should also work hard for this improvement.. where they should really put on consideration their future.. not only for the job .. but for the knowledge itself..and we should never forget that one is actually measured not only by the amount of -3elm- or knowledge.. but also by the way they actually use this knowledge..or information received.. AND YET AGAIN.. I got carried away with my thoughts… never knowing when to stop.. I know I write a lot.. sorry to whom ever is reading my comments for making this very long.. as usual.. Whatever has been mentioned above is my personal thoughts.. I had a lot to say and couldn’t put them all down.. it seems that I focused more about how bad is the education in the Arabic countries.. and comparing them to the west.. but then again every country, every method has their positive and negative ways.. and if I would start talking about how bad could be the environment of education in the west I’d never stop writing.. And will eventually get kicked out by Bundy or the supervisors cuz am making my reply too long.. and I shall ended it here ![]() Thanks once again for the topic..
