Somebody who cares

Hey gus!!
I'm a new member here and I'm delighted that my first contribution is in this forum..

well, I have this so called a poem that I had written few weeks ago
and I've decided to spare it from the fate of the other poems I wrote>> which is by the way "The garbage bin" (lol)

anyway I've said let's give it a shot ..
so please read it and tell me your opinion about it..



"Somebody who Cares"

When you think that the day is dark.
And the nights pass by so slow.
Just let your heart feel the peace.
That comes from the person, I know!
So kind, so tender
Just like the soft wind when they blow

He, and he alone can bring assurance.
He is always by your side.
Supporting and loving each mankind
When he smile his face shine
And so is mine
With his soothing tune of voice
I don’t have a choice
But to listen to the one true friend you can depend on
Every time he says “don’t worry.. Life goes on”
I know that deep down
Even if it didn’t.. he will be there
And will never let me down
For he truly care

Honest and faithful
I’m truly grateful
That I have that somebody who cares.
