Oh, such a painful topic

These is one GRAND mistake in my life I've made, I always regret it because the ripples it created bother me till this day

I'm so bothered that I wish time will roll back to that moment so that I undo the mistake

The only problem in my situation, is that that mistake has been projected against me and not the other party. I never realized it would do so, but had I thought it over carefully, I would've expected how it would go and, hence not make the TERRIBLE mistake

Oh well, what can one say? It's all fated

I read your comment more than once trying to figure

out what to say. We all make mistakes, most of the time

due to lack of good judgement or because our emotions blind

us from seeing the truth;thus, we act on the impulse. By the time

we realize we made a " huge" mistake, its too late to do

anything about it. Well, its said " time heals all wounds" ,

wish it's true.

And seriously, this one mistak does not heal by the passage of time, because the ripples continue, unchanged, unwavering

I'm intrigued.... what Paulo Coelho book is this???

I think mistakes are a good thing, ofcourse that depends on the kind of mistake, but mostly they're a good thing... without making mistakes you wouldn't learn

Salam alukiem sister Rose...

first, i would like to say that we'll do mistakes and no one among us is angel

but there is something called " tobah" to our Allah

most of people, included me, forget this and it's a great chance now because Ramadan is

coming to returen to Allah.

I read one time that Allah said to the angels if these people don't do mistakes, i'll creat

people that do mistakes and comeback to me.

and let's remember that Allah is genrous.

Hello

I don't think this story was in any of his books.

It is some sort of advice on life Paulo Coelho

wrote to his readers independent from his books

Mistakes, indeed, teach us valuable lesson about

ourselves and life. However, what if these mistakes

hurt other people? Are you gonna walk away or deal

with it? I believe what Coelho is trying to say is that

if you hurt someone, whether intentionally or intentionally

ask for their forgiveness and not assume things will

somehow turn out good.

Hi Bundy

well there is a thin line between committing a sin and

making mistakes. If you sin, only you and Allah know about

it, and Allah is always forgiving. I am no gonna go into

further details about this. Back to the Paulo Coelho's story.

The moral of his story is to act. If you know that you made

a mistake, hurt, humiliated, or did wrong to someone, go and

apologize for it.
