The problem is Badi that during summer I will travel, so it would be difficult to run the contest then, especially this type of contest where I manage the ongoings day by day, as opposed to Test Your Antonym Contest

Don't worry, it would be fun. If you review last Ramadan's programs you would know, especially my Ramadan Contest. Ask Everlasting and she would tell you

Incidentally, I'm sorry to have to leave you guys in such a short notice, but I'm quite tied up with some persoonal projects at the moment

That's why I asked to be relieved of my responsibilities since I can't practice my role fully for now

But don't panic, I will return soon for sure to make your lives MISERABLE

I advise you girls to think up a package of subjects for the upcoming Ramadan, there is time for that

You can cound on me to prepare a challenging contest for Ramadan, the rest I leave it to you

Everlasting witnessed last Ramadan's programs and can use the experience to come up with new ideas, eh

the problem is

when u add new topics the response is soooo minimal
u regret posting it in the first place

the members react rly well to the contests
u know i say this from experience

I noticed this as well, I don't know what can we do about this

I mean, would the solution be to: Post topics that would interest the generla public for instance

The drawbacks of contests that they can be only post one at a time, and it is difficult to keep the next contest different and more creative than the previous one

We can't rely on contests only to rejuvinate the forum, we need to think of other things as well

I'm quite disappointed that nobody reacted to the Opinion's thread I post months ago, I did so to receive feedback from the regulars on how to better the forum; but they didn't give us anything, sadly

So, for now I really hope you girls think up something, fresh ideas

I will be around, so don't worry

but i think that most alamuae members dnt have a genuine interest in english
that's the problem

i've seen other english forums
the reponse and interaction there is sooooo different than our forum

in regards to the contest i agree with u
a contest cnt be posted every month
!!

it needs : planning , organizing , thinking , effort , and creativity

i'll c everlasting and we'll try to exchange thoughts
